It operates only in landscape mode and some tools are better on the Mac--especially the keyboard interface--but many options like the amplifier option, recording tools, and samplers are very well crafted and perfectly easy to use, even for those with no experience creating music. Multitrack recording is another very useful tool here, and despite the resources this app must demand, it ran smoothly in every test we developed for it, from an eight track recording to multiple voice inputs and three- to five-minute audio recordings being edited onscreen. Av301p Driver is one of those rare apps that can be useful for almost anyone interested in recording. Whether you are interviewing someone for your podcast or are playing with Smart Drums while connected by Bluetooth to three other iPad or iPhone users, this app never ceases to amaze. This is one of Apple's better iWork apps for the iOS platform. Av301p Driver takes advantage of the growing trend to compute on the go by providing a real-time link between a PC/Mac and an iOS device. By giving you access to your hard drive on any computer with the Av301p Driver app installed, you can easily see everything you have on your computer, not just in your cloud storage folders. This is a great tool and it works quickly and effectively, despite some serious setup difficulties. Despite how well Av301p Driver works, you must first set it up, and that takes time and patience. After signing up, registering your account, and connecting via
Av301p Driver (if you so choose), you must then install a desktop client and then set that up. From there, you must link the two to be able to see your files--all told it can take as long as 10 minutes to get everything running, depending on your configuration. From there, however, the rest is very straightforward. Av301p Driver doesn't bury you with option menus--just a remote viewing tab to see your hard drive's file structure and a cloud tool to upload files into the cloud for later access. Av301p Driver, unlike costly cloud storage tools,
makes accessing your files on the go as easy as leaving your computer on. It's faster than other remote viewing tools and it even integrates cloud tools so you have the option for a two-way transfer. Other than a troublesome setup process, everything about the app is designed for ease of use--a great tool in many situations. Av301p Driver is a well-made cloud storage service for your iOS device that connects your documents, pictures, videos, and more with your computers for quick and easy access. While not offering substantially more storage than other services, the app is well designed and offers a number of features that are well-suited to the needs of a business professional backing up files to the cloud. If you don't already have an account, you can create one for Av301p Driver directly in the app. It only takes a minute and you will be given a custom URL to access your account on a Web browser away from your device. The app then creates a virtual desktop where you can see folders with videos, images, documents, and more. Creating a new folder is easy and Av301p Driver is added to the menu for saving files from e-mail attachments and in other apps that support the save menu. Combined with automatic picture uploads, a built-in media player, and numerous syncing options, Av301p Driver is designed with mobile devices in mind. It works great, looks great, and operates at a high level when moving large volumes of files. While it doesn't have the name recognition of other cloud storage services, and server speed was noticeably slower than some other alternatives (though not all), Av301p Driver's mobile platform is very well designed, and works quite well with both the iPhone and iPad to back up your important files for access on any
